Moon Circles at Kave (W6 7AL)
Wholeheartedly You Moon Circles are an opportunity to pause and reconnect – a brave and sacred space to gather with other women, find grounding, comfort, inspiration and acceptance, and remember and celebrate our unity with nature and the universe. If you are feeling called to explore this interconnectivity to support your growth, healing and wellbeing, these circles are for you.
Both the full and new moons are magical moments in the already magical lunar cycle. The full moon represents the cycle’s completion, the sun and moon become aligned on opposite sides of the earth and 100% of the moon’s face is illuminated by the sun, from our perspective at least. While the new moon represents the first phase of the cycle when the moon is barely visible, as the sun and moon are on the same side of the earth.
When you consider the magic and mystery of the universe, the moon’s cycle is one of many awe-inspiring wonders which can easily pass by unnoticed unless we tune in.
The beauty is that as we explore our interconnectivity with nature and the moon, we can get to know ourselves more deeply. The full moon can light the way back to our truest, most wholehearted self.
The significance of the full moon
The energy of the full moon is that of celebration and gratitude. Sometimes in life, it can be as if we are always trying to get somewhere, so much so that we forget to pause and celebrate exactly where we are and who we are in this very moment.
The full moon reminds us of our perfect wholeness. No matter what we go through, how broken we feel, or how we see ourselves, we are always whole, worthy, and complete. We are always enough. Just like the moon is always whole, it’s simply that we only see it to be so at a certain point in the lunar cycle. But just because you don’t see it’s wholeness, doesn’t mean it isn’t so.
The full moon is an invitation to gaze up into the sky and see our perfect wholeness mirrored back to us.
Energetically, the full moon can be a time when emotions and feelings are heightened. Full moon circles are also therefore an opportunity for self-reflection, to explore whatever is coming up for us at the time, with a gentle and compassionate heart. What is the full moon asking us to see? The full moon can shine the light on our lives and all parts of ourselves we keep in the shadows – including our patterns and beliefs – an opportunity to turn our attention inwards and bring these parts of ourselves into the light, to embrace them wholeheartedly.
The significance of the new moon
The new moon on the other hand is a time of spiritual renewal, new beginnings, and setting intentions. It’s a time to reflect on the past and start fresh, reflecting on lessons and embracing limitless possibility and rejuvenation.
